The show was overflowing with star power. Kate Moss and her 18-year-old daughter Laila will also be making their first appearance together in the fashion show. And in very unexpected news, they were not surprised! See:
This is Laila's second time modeling at Paris Fashion Week: Laila made her runway debut last October at PFW, opening the Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2021 collection for the COVID-19 pandemic, Her mother, who watched the show as a member of the virtual audience, reflected on the big moment in a December video for British Vogue (opens in new tab), commenting, "It was very emotional to see Laila on the runway."
"Well, I mean, emotional. ...... I was so nervous for her. 'Some girlfriends were there and we were at the rink waiting for the show to start. When she came out, we were like, 'She's doing it! She's doing it!" And I was like. Yeah, I was really proud."
Kate also revealed that her daughter has access to her enviable closet: "Lila has already started working on my closet. She recently stole my Asdin Alaia skirt. It's so cute."
