Keira Knightley doesn't want to be photographed in a nude scene filmed by a man.

In a recent podcast interview, Keira Knightley revealed her discomfort with shooting nude scenes with male directors." It's not absolutely forbidden, but it's a little ...... for men. " she said. One reason, she admitted, is "vanity," but she also said another is "the male gaze."

Appearing on Chanel Konnex, Knightley continued. 'I don't want it to be one of those awful sex scenes where you get your whole body covered in grease and everyone moans. I'm not interested in that."

Knightley, 35 and a mother of two, said that would be different if she were working on a project that celebrated her journey of motherhood and physical acceptance.

Knightley revealed last year (opens in new tab) that after becoming a mother, she added a no-nudity clause to her contract, giving her "complete control" over which sex scenes she would appear in. She previously told the Financial Times. 'I've had children, I'm in my thirties, and I'm very happy with my body.'
