Jennifer Lopez says she considered not marrying Alex Rodriguez

In 2020, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez (open in new tab) were forced to cancel their wedding plans not once, but twice, Lopez admitted on her recent SiriusXM show, Radio Andy. Speaking to host Andy Cohen, Lopez said the hurdles made her and Rodriguez wonder if they needed to get married, and reflected on the 37-year relationship of actors Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, who have never been married.

We were going to get married in Italy.

"So we canceled it and tried to regroup towards the end of the year. And you say to yourself, 'Well, things happen in a way, in God's timing.'" [But that's what happened with Goldie and with Kurt. It just gives me time to stop and think about it a little bit." And maybe that's still important to us, but I don't think there's any need to rush. But there's no rush.
