Kate Middleton Wears Most Glamorous Outfit to Toast Marshmallows on Royal Tour
Now, it's no secret how much Kate Middleton loves themed outfits, so it's no surprise that she donned a red tartan check ensemble on the day of a winter event during the Cambridge couple's royal tour; as Hello! (opens in new tab) reported, Kate and Prince William arrived at Cardiff Castle this morning, where they met with college students and then toured the festival's market stalls (and roasted their own marshmallows).
The Duchess of Cambridge re-wore her red Alexander McQueen full-length coat (opens in new tab), which she last wore in October at Waterloo Station in London, where photos from her "Hold Still" exhibition were displayed. She paired this coat with a tartan pleated Emilia Wickstead midi skirt (opens in new tab) that debuted at the 2018 Kensington Palace holiday party. This time, she added a matching tartan scarf, probably also by Emilia Wickstead. Kate finished the look with a black roll-neck sweater, suede Ralph Lauren boots, and her current favorite handbag, a Grace Han love letter top handle bag.
Unfortunately, most of Kate's ensemble has been in her closet for a while, so it would be difficult to replicate her look.
One more from the Cambridges' outing in Cardiff: Hello! reported that, speaking to a student at Cardiff University, she revealed that she has yet to decide how to celebrate Christmas amidst the COVID-19 craze. 'It's very difficult. We are still trying to make plans. It's hard to know what's the best way to do it," William said, according to Hello! Lily Faulkner, a political science and international studies student, later revealed, " They were trying to make Christmas plans with their families just like we were, but they still didn't know 100 percent what they were going to do or where they were going."
