Chrissy Teigen's moving Instagram post about her recovery after loss
In a touching Instagram post about her recovery after the loss, Chrissy Teigen said, "I realized that the sky is indeed blue and not black." Teigen and Legend lost their son, Jack (opens in new tab), at the end of September in the third month of Teigen's pregnancy.
Teigen posted a photo of herself dressed all in black, except for blue dog-print socks. She wrote: "When I am old and gray, I will look back on these past two months as cruel, exhausting, sad, physically difficult, and emotionally painful months. But I refuse to find humor in both the fits and outfits of anger," she writes.
"I already notice that the leaves look orange instead of gray, the sky is indeed blue and not black, and the horn honking on my forced morning walk only brings me to my knees half the time," Teigen continued." I can walk up the stairs with only one or two stops instead of every other one, and I can get out of the tub by myself as long as there is a promise that John will dry me off." Anyway, the point is, hoo hoo hoo, I think it's happening.
Last week, Teigen and Legend appeared on Good Morning America for their first joint interview (opens in new tab) since losing their son. "I definitely give myself permission to feel complete and total grief," Teigen said. 'Every day is so different. So when people ask me how I'm doing, I always say I'm OK-today."
Legend spoke of the enormous amount of public support the couple received, commenting, "This is a lonely time for many people because we are physically separated in many ways, and the outpouring of people's love and concern for us was really reassuring and uplifting for us." Teigen reflected. Teigen recalled. I believe that people are inherently good.
