Chrissy Teigen says she is "in the throes of grief" after the loss of baby Jack.
Chrissy Teigen spoke candidly about her grief (opens in new tab) on Twitter on Wednesday after the death of her son, Jack (opens in new tab), born to husband John Legend, in September, late in Teigen's pregnancy. Explaining her absence from the platform, she wrote, "I honestly am in a bit of a depression hole of grief, so I don't tweet much."
"Don't worry because I have a lot of help around me to get better," Teigen assured her followers, "and I will get better soon." They will call when I am recovered and ready for pickup, and you can grab me on a swing by okay "Thanks and love you!"
Earlier this week, Teigen and Legend spoke about coping with loss during an appearance on Good Morning America (opens in new tab). "I definitely give myself permission to feel full and complete grief," Teigen said. 'Every day is so different. So when people ask me how I'm doing, I always say I'm OK - today."
"It's very hard to go through something like this as a woman. Obviously the father was involved and his support for both of us was so beautiful and so incredible," she continued.
"I never knew we could go through such grief and share it. Knowing that was a very powerful experience for me." I am so grateful that my wife had the courage to do it."
