Kate Middleton in Zara blazer for royal video speech

ZARA's universal appeal is such that even the Royal Family, with its equally endless wardrobe as well as unlimited funds, can't help but make the occasional purchase. Kate Middleton is one such fan of the brand, and she wore a red Zara blazer to shoot a video thanking participants in her community photography project "Hold Still" (opens in new tab).

Kate's photography project, launched in collaboration with London's National Portrait Gallery, called for photographs of her country from the British public during the COVID-19 craze. Winning photos were displayed outdoors throughout the UK, and a digital photo exhibition was also organized.

In a video released on social media as the project came to a close, Kate said, "I want to thank everyone who submitted images to 'Hold Still' from the bottom of my heart... I launched the project with the National Portrait Gallery in May because I wanted to find a way to share experiences and stories of incarceration. I wanted to find a way to share the experiences and stories of incarceration with everyone," she said. We are thrilled with the response to the project and couldn't be more grateful to each of the 31,000 people who submitted images. It was very difficult to choose the final 100 photos, but I think we have created a collective portrait of our country, reflecting on what others have gone through and our own journey through this difficult time."

Kate wore a red blazer, white blouse, and gold charm necklace from Zara to capture her short speech. Royal style spotter Kate's Closet (opens in new tab) identified the blazer, but unfortunately it has been in Kate's wardrobe for a very long time. According to the Style Blog, the Duchess of Cambridge first wore the blazer in 2012, for an event related to the London Olympics.

However, it might be easier to get your hands on Kate's lovely, fossil-inspired charm necklace. She wore the Paleontology Nugget Necklace by British brand Alex Monroe, priced at £360 (about $470). And, unusually for a product worn by a duchess, the exact style is still in stock:
