A vintage photo of the two of them together has been all over the Internet, spreading like a virtual wildfire on Twitter and catching people by surprise this week, but it's not actually news: according to Us Weekly (opens in new tab), the same tantalizing photo will be the subject of a 2019 on Twitter, and Williams mentioned at the time his history of dating the pioneering Democrat.

"@KamalaHarris and I dated briefly about 20 years ago when we were both single. So what?" According to Us Weekly, Williams tweeted about the photo in 2019. She wrote: "I have the utmost respect for Senator Harris. I can't help but wonder if a similar story would have been written about her dating history if she were a male candidate."
