Ryan Reynolds Says Blake Lively and Daughters Are Family Superheroes

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively seem like pretty cool parents, so it's not at all surprising that the Deadpool actor is a totally doting father (opens in new tab).

In an interview with Access' Mario Lopez's children, Reynolds (opens in new tab) opened up about family life, saying (via Us Weekly (opens in new tab)), "I love being a father to girls. I have three daughters, and I never in a million years could have imagined that. I come from a male sibling background. I have three older brothers. I'm the youngest of four brothers, so to have three daughters is a blessing, and I love every second of it." [Reynolds, when asked if his wife and daughters are family superheroes, said, "No kidding, they are the most talented people I know. So if something crazy or scary happens in my life, they'll be the first people I turn to. They are courageous under fire."

Reynolds also revealed that he and Lively are a close-knit family unit, taking turns filming the movie so they can always be there for their children. 'We try to be together as much as possible,' he said. We travel around and spend time together. I think the best part is that we don't spend a lot of time apart. I get to spend a lot of time with my daughters."
