Kate Middleton made a video call to the bereaved families of British servicemen to mark British Remembrance Week, Hello! (opens in new tab) reports (opens in new tab). Middleton spoke to 11-year-old Charlton Taylor and his mother Sonia Fleming, Selina Alexander, and Chantelle Wynne.

Charlton Taylor's father, Royal Marine Michael Taylor, was killed in Afghanistan when his son was only 10 months old, and Kate commented on Charlton wearing his father's military medals. 'Is this Dad's medal? 'It's very special that you're wearing it.'

Serena Alexander spoke about her son Sam, who was killed by an IED in Afghanistan in 2011. The Royal British Legion was "very warm, loving, kind, and friendly at a very sad and sorrowful time," Alexander said.

Meanwhile, Chantelle Wynne recalled the support she received from the charity after her husband, Ryan, a former Army medic, committed suicide after developing PTSD following a tour in Afghanistan. She said, "We would wear poppies and make donations, but we didn't know where those donations were going. But now I know exactly where those donations are going," Winn said.

"It is truly an honor to speak with you all," Kate told the military families.

"I think I speak for the entire nation when I say how proud you should be of your loved ones and for the sacrifice and courage they have shown."

"I will keep you all in my thoughts during this difficult week and for years to come," she continued.

For the video call, Kate wore a vintage-style white satin blouse with a black scalloped collar fastened with a poppy. Royal style tracker Kate's Closet (opens in new tab) confirmed that the blouse was the "Boo" design from British store Ghost and sold for £79 (about $103). Unfortunately, as with anything Kate wears, the blouse has sold out everywhere. The same goes for her earrings, Accessorize's "Pearl Rope Drop Earrings," which used to sell for about $13 but are now unavailable. If you find any fakes, will you let us know?
