Blake Lively really hates it when people post pictures of her bare feet on the Internet.

One thing Hollywood's resident eccentric couple, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, love to do is incur the wrath of the Internet's most eccentric denizens (see: the author of this article). From their infamous plantation wedding discourse to their incessant berating of each other on social media, Lively and Reynolds are surely always lurking on the collective periphery of those who, for better or worse, remain very much online.

It was a crisp fall Thursday afternoon that brought the latest tidbit to the 2020 nightmare wheel. The "Gossip Girl" actress posted a photo of herself and her husband posing with what appeared to be a ballot.

"It was Ryan's first time," she joked in the caption. 'He was understandably scared. It happened so fast. It happened so fast. He cried. I pretended to cry. Then he called all his friends. #voteearly."

But what was more fascinating to the amateur celebrity observer was not the virtue-signaling hashtag, but what appeared to be Lively's shoes (brown strap heels). Judging from her Instagram story (which opens in a new tab), it appears that she was in on the joke as well.

There is something to be said about rich celebrities (who can virtually buy any pair of the season's trendiest pumps) painting DSW knockoffs on their bare feet. As humans are prone to do, it is possible that Lively was bored or simply didn't want her bare feet to appear on the Internet. In any case, if Lively is willing to forgo her own shoes, feel free to send me a pair of Telfer logoed high boots (opens in new tab). Consider it my next charity project.

Incidentally, Reynolds posted his own version of the same photo on his Instagram, and Lively was indeed barefoot.
