'There is a difference between being able to stand on your own and putting your child in a vulnerable position. I think every day about what I can do to make this world a better place for Archie.

"At the same time, I am cautious about putting my family at risk by doing certain things. Instead, I try to talk about very straightforward things, like exercising my right to vote," the Duchess of Sussex continued.

"As a parent, I can enjoy all the fun and silliness and games with my son, but I wouldn't feel proud of myself as a mother if I didn't know I wasn't doing my part to make things a better place for my son."

Of the work she and Prince Harry have lined up, including a multimillion-dollar Netflix deal with her husband Prince Harry and the launch of the nonprofit Archewell, Meghan said, "Everything I do is for my son Archie. I'm certainly excited about creating programming and content that is conscious, inspiring, has a call to action, and is uplifting."
