Meghan Markle Talks About Changes After Leaving the Royal Family

She spoke about the importance of leveraging public platforms and exercising her voice for good, something she was unable to do as a senior member of the royal family.
"Your voice matters," Princess Meghan said. 'The less you can exercise it, the more you realize it. Regardless of my experience over the last few years, compared to anyone else's experience, you can't take for granted the ability you have as a woman to have your voice heard, and now that people have a platform on social media where they can actually hear that voice for a larger audience, it I think it's a huge responsibility."

She said, "My gut feeling is that [becoming a parent] makes me more courageous and very concerned about the world they're going to inherit.
