Joe Jonas is the proud curator of an ever-expanding gallery of tattoos, and this week he added a new design to his collection: tattoo artist Noah Lee, known as NAL, who, as reported by Hollywood Life, on Tuesday posted Jonas' posted a photo (opens in new tab), and Jonas later shared it on his Instagram Story.

Jonas' new tattoo is on the back of his neck, a delicate black-and-white design of a person peeking through a keyhole. And fans immediately began speculating that it was inspired by his wife, Sophie Turner: "Is that Sophie?" One commented, "Pure Sophie look-alike," while another wrote, "Cutest thing ever. "A third fan wrote, "The whole thing is pretty cool, and even better that it's his wife. It means something else. It's like opening up a new world. You step through that door to her."

Unfortunately, before we get too excited about Jonas' obviously romantic tribute, it appears that his new tattoo is not Turner-inspired after all. As several commenters on Lee's post pointed out, the keyhole design is a recurring motif by Italian artist Piero Fornasetti (opens in new tab), as is the face of his lifelong muse, opera singer Lina Cavalieri. It is possible, however, that Jonas altered the design to more closely resemble his wife. One fan said, "It's a Fornasetti design with Sophie's face on it." Either way, it is an interesting addition to Jonas's extensive collection.
