Spencer is the younger brother of Kaling's 2-year-old daughter Katherine (opens in new tab), whom he welcomed in December 2017. Speaking to Glamour last year, Kaling talked about being a parent and her fantasy of the "right time" for her." I always wanted to be a mom, but I might have procrastinated and put it off," she said.
