Amanda Seyfried gave birth to her second child after keeping her pregnancy a secret.
Amanda Seyfried has given birth to a baby boy, having kept her pregnancy a complete secret from the press. Seyfried, the second child of her and husband Thomas Sadoski, has a younger brother with their 3-year-old daughter Nina.
Seyfried and Sadoski announced the happy news via the Instagram pages of two charities, following in the footsteps of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom (open in new tab): INARA (International Network for Aid, Relief and Assistance) and War Child USA The couple is a couple of children living in conflict zones. The couple are board members of INARA, which provides medical care to children living in war zones, and ambassadors for War Child USA, which works to protect children from the effects of war by providing them with resources such as education and legal counsel.
"Since the birth of our daughter three years ago, our commitment to innocent children who have been cruelly affected by conflict and war has been the driving force in our lives," Seyfried and Sadoski said in a statement.
"With the birth of our son, the work of INARA and War Child has become our North Star."
Sadoski shared this post on his account (open in new tab) and wrote, "If you are interested in helping, the four of us (currently) give $4 (or $44!) a month to both of these amazing organizations that help make the world a better place for children. ) are welcome if you can set up a donation," she wrote. Seyfried shared her husband's post (opens in new tab), adding, "@thomas_sadoski and I made a little man."
Earlier this year, People reported (opens in new tab) that Seyfried opened up about raising Nina during an appearance on the YouTube series "Molner's Table." She told host John Molner that her mother lives with her family in a farmhouse in upstate New York. 'She's our nanny,' Seyfried said. 'She's our third parent, so my life is great. I'm really lucky.
"So when she wakes up, she either comes to our room or goes downstairs," Seyfried explained, "and if we're still asleep, it's great because I get to be with my mom. She's an early riser."
"These days, I get up, go downstairs, have coffee, hang out with my daughter, and then Tommy feeds [the animals]. Our family is still together."
