Jessica Mulroney Says She Deleted Meghan Markle's Photos Because of "Bullying and Hatred"
Jessica Mulroney blamed "bullying and hatred" for the deletion of a photo from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding that she deleted after posting it last month. In August, Mulroney posted a photo of one of her sons (twins Brian and John were page boys at the wedding) walking behind Princess Meghan and posted a photo of the couple with the caption, "I see this and pure joy." Shortly thereafter, the photo disappeared.
As Vanity Fair reports (opens in new tab), Mulroney spoke about the post on his Instagram Story on Tuesday. 'People often ask me why I delete certain posts. The amount of bullying and hate I have put up with for 3 years ...... I'm tired of seeing it,' she wrote. 'Be kind. Be polite. We are adults... Stop acting like teenagers. Real women don't put other women down."
Marlony also wrote that she was "a real woman, not a teenager.
Marlonie faced criticism in June when she detailed how Canadian influencer Sasha Exeter weaponized "textbook white privilege" (open in new tab) against her. After Exeter called on influencers to use their platforms to challenge racism, Mulroney contacted the brand, discouraged them from working with her, and later threatened Exeter with legal action after Exeter spoke out online." She is well aware of her wealth, the power and privilege perceived by the color of her skin. And that, my friend, gave her the momentary confidence to come for my livelihood of writing," Exeter shared in an Instagram video.
Mulroney was subsequently fired as a contributor to Good Morning America and her CTV show "I Do Redo" was canceled.
