Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper's shirtless photo on Instagram.
Andy Cohen (open in new tab) blessed everyone's Instagram timeline with a shirtless photo of Anderson Cooper (open in new tab), but apparently Anderson is not happy about it.
On Tuesday, Andy (open in new tab) shared two photos of Anderson while the two were vacationing together in the tropics; in the first photo, Anderson is posing in front of lush greenery, and in the second, he is working out his toned body on a boat.
In the caption, Andy revealed why he decided to share this: "In a normal year, I would be on vacation with friends ...... Threatening to post a shirtless picture of him. Well, it's 2020 and I'm sitting on deck, so I figured I'd take the liberty of posting it and piss him off! #SilverFox"
Fans went crazy over the post and asked Anderson all sorts of questions and comments about the photo." This is community service. Thank you for being a good friend and sharing this with us in our time of need? " wrote one fan, while another commented, "You are indeed a silver fox."
Andy provided an update on Anderson's reaction to the post on his Instagram Story." Anderson is very upset with everyone," Cohen said. 'But listen, I'm sitting under a blanket, bored. Ben is sleeping and I'm bored. So what else am I supposed to do?"
"Maybe I'll post more shirtless pictures of Anderson!" He added.
Obviously, this post is all in good fun, and Anderson and Andy have a pretty close relationship. The two actually met in the 90s in a blind date setting, but the date never materialized.
"Andy and I were first set up on a blind date, but it didn't happen because he called me and two minutes later I said, 'I'm not dating this person,'" Anderson recalled in December 2016 on Watch What Happens Live He recalled (opens in new tab)." He broke my ground rules... He met with me and within the first four sentences mentioned my mother."
Well, thankfully, the two remained good friends. They had sons Benjamin (opens in new tab) and Wyatt (opens in new tab) within a few months, and Andy promised on his Instagram story (opens in new tab) that his sons would be best friends like their father.
In "Watch What Happens Live" (opens in new tab), Ben and Wyatt first met in June. As Andy showed Wyatt to Ben, he said, "This is going to be your best friend. And we're going to travel together. If you like him as much as I like his dad, we'll be good friends."
Have you ever seen a better duo? Expect to see more pictures of Anderson in his shirt in the near future!
