Michael B. Jordan shares a moving tribute to his "big brother," Chadwick Boseman.
Michael B. Jordan shared a heartfelt tribute (opens in new tab) to Chadwick Boseman on Instagram Monday. Boseman, who played T'Challa alongside Jordan's Erik Killmonger in Black Panther, died of colon cancer on August 28.
"When we last spoke, you said we were forever linked. From almost the very beginning of my career, which began with 'All My Children' when I was 16, you paved the way for me. You taught me how to be better, how to honor my purpose, how to create a legacy. And whether you knew it or not . I have seen and learned from your greatness, and you have continually motivated me"
.
"You cared about family, friends, technology, and spirit. You cared about your children, your community, our culture and our humanity. You cared about me. You are my brother, but while you were here, I didn't get enough opportunities to tell you or really give you flowers.
"I dedicate the rest of my days to living like you. With grace, with courage, and without regret," Jordan concluded his eulogy." This is your king! Yes, it is! May you rest in peace.
