Jessica Mulroney (open in new tab) is back on social media after a hiatus this summer. In case you forgot, the stylist and former TV personality was subjected to public scrutiny and multiple pink slips this summer following a scandal in which she took advantage of her white privilege (opens in new tab). Specifically, prominent black influencer Sasha Exeter for pressuring brands not to work with her after she made a generic post calling on other influencers to use their platforms to speak out against racism, She accused Mulroney

of "trying to make her look like a racist.

The ordeal not only caused her some major career setbacks, but reportedly put a strain on her friendship with Marlony and Meghan Markle (open in new tab)... And that burden may not have been fully eased yet.

On Thursday, Marlony posted a sweet throwback photo of one of her sons smiling behind Meghan, who helped carry the veil on their wedding day (both of Marlony's twin sons, Brian and John (opens in new tab), are both in the royal wedding (opens in new tab) opens in new tab), who had the honor of serving as pageboys).

"I feel pure joy when I see this," Mulroney wrote in the photo caption.

One might wonder why it is a screenshot of the post (opens in new tab) rather than an embed.

It is possible that either Meghan or someone from Team Sussex (opens in new tab) asked Mulroney to remove the photo.

"Meghan obviously can't meet with her in public and needs to keep her cool now, but Jess knows a lot and will be surprised if she doesn't get back in touch," a source told The Sun in June (opens in new tab).

Is this something that was requested to be removed, or is this just a post that Mulroney realized was not how she felt after all, for completely unrelated reasons: ...... Honestly, we will never know for sure.
