Meghan Markle Wears Feminist Bracelet in Conversation with Gloria Steinem
Many of you may have seen the historic conversation between Meghan Markle and Gloria Steinem (opens in new tab). Princess Meghan spoke about vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris and said she is "very excited to see that kind of representation." Duchess Meghan also spoke of her concerns about the oppression that voters of color are being targeted for, commenting on "how we can avoid that, how we can help people feel empowered." The Duchess also praised her husband Prince Harry's feminist beliefs as a "beautiful example" for their son Archie. Princess Meghan and Steinem mentioned the bracelet during a lengthy conversation, in which Steinem explained that "'We are connected not ranked' is the shortest way I have found to say what our goal is." Meghan added, "It means everything to me on every level.
