Eva Mendes Shares Sweet Post in Support of Ryan Gosling and His New Movie

Eva Mendes has shown her partner Ryan Gosling her undying love and support through a sweet Instagram post.

On Saturday, May 4, Mendes shared a photo of Gosling as his character Colt Sievers in The Fall Guy. Colt, played by Gosling in the film, is a stunt double for "Space Cowboy," played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson of Bullet Train.

In the same post, Mendes shared a photo of herself alongside Gosling in a matching floor-length gold gown with long sleeves and a collared button-up top.

"Do you believe in happy ending' Aliana & Space Cowboy together at last," Mendes captioned the post." If you know, you know ......."

In Gosling's new film, the character Space Cowboy is romantically involved with an alien named Aliana in a fictional film directed by Lucy, played by the incomparable Emily Blunt.

The real-life Space Cowboy and Ariana (i.e., Mendes and Gosling) met on the set of the 2012 film The Place Between the Pines and had two children, Esmeralda Amada and Amada Lee.

While Gosling continued her highly successful acting career, Mendes took a step back from Hollywood after becoming a mother; in a recent interview with People, Mendes said that abandoning her acting career was "the easiest decision I ever made."

.

"I was older, my kids were going to be little once, and I knew that anything I did or didn't do now was going to affect the rest of their lives," she told the publication at the time.

"Your career comes and goes, but the kids, yeah, that was easy for me," she continued. 'It's just the formative years. I wanted to be there for all of it."

Gosling is very supportive of Mendes and her efforts, including the release of her upcoming children's book, Desi, Mami, and the Never-Ending Trouble. He is also quick to remind people that his partner and co-parent has been very helpful as he continues to invest in his career.

"I couldn't be here without her," Gosling told Extra on Tuesday, April 30, when he attended the Los Angeles premiere of The Fall Guy. 'She's also my acting coach. She's really been the best acting coach I've ever had.
