King Charles, Queen Camilla, and members of the royal family take over former advisors of the late Queen.

To mark the coronation of King Charles, Buckingham Palace has announced who in the royal family will take over the late Queen's many charities. [Following His Majesty the King's accession to the throne in September 2022, a major review of more than 1,000 royal patronages and charitable chairmanships has been undertaken. On the occasion of the first anniversary of Their Majesties' coronation, the conclusions will be shared with relevant organizations in the coming week." [His Majesty the King, as Prince of Wales, and Her Majesty the Queen, as Duchess of Cornwall, will continue to serve as patrons of the many charities and institutions to which they belonged. Furthermore, Their Majesties are pleased to continue their patronage of the various charities and institutions that have been supported by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II."

Kensington Palace also announced that "other members of the Royal Family" will join its "existing portfolio" in charge of "a number of organizations that have been supported by the late Queen."

According to People, King Charles will maintain his patronage of 367 of the 441 organizations he was a member of prior to his accession, and Queen Camilla will continue her ties to 99 of the 100 organizations she was previously a member of as Duchess of Cornwall.

People also reports that some of the late Prince Philip's patronage is also included in the official review.

In addition to maintaining many of his previous patronages, Us Weekly reports that Prince Charles will become a patron of the Royal British Legion, a nonprofit organization that provides financial, social, and spiritual support to veterans.

Prince Charles will also take over his mother's role as patron of the Dogs Trust, a dog rehoming charity.

"We are delighted to welcome His Majesty the King as our new Royal Patron," Owen Sharp, chief executive of Dogs Trust, said in a statement, according to Us Weekly. The King's passion and love for dogs is clear for all to see, and his support will help us continue the work we are doing to help dogs and dog lovers here in the UK and around the world."

In addition to maintaining the bulk of her patronage, Queen Camilla will take over the late Queen's roles in the Royal Literary Fund, the Royal Academy of Dance, and the Royal Voluntary Service, as well as becoming president of the Sandringham branch of the Women's Society, "Us Weekly" reported . Prince Charles has officially resumed official royal duties after publicly announcing that he has been diagnosed with an unspecified type of cancer and is currently undergoing treatment.

Recently, Buckingham Palace issued a statement on the King's health, announcing that "the treatment program will continue, but doctors are fully satisfied with the progress so far and the King is now able to resume many official duties."

"In order to minimize the risk to His Majesty's continued recovery, future appointments will be modified as necessary," the palace continued, later confirming that the king was "greatly encouraged" and "grateful" to the medical team and their "ongoing care and expertise."
