Emily Blunt Says Taylor Swift Has Made Her Daughter Less "Self-Conscious"

Actress Emily Blunt talks about how pop star Taylor Swift helped give her young daughter confidence.

During a recent appearance on SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show, the Fall Guy star talked about her brief encounter with the history-making "Eras Tour" star and what she said helped her 9-year-old daughter Hazel become less "self-conscious."

"She was very kind to my kids," Brandt explained at the time. 'My oldest had just had all her hair cut, very short, and she was very self-conscious. Taylor Swift said, 'Look at you. I love your style,'" Blunt continued after the exchange, "I thought my kids were going to pass out."

"I thought my kids were going to pass out.

"It was the best thing someone could have done for my child," she added.

Swift has a long and well-known history of making as much time as possible for her young fans, both on and off tour. As Billboard reported, before a show in Las Vegas, Swift signed and sent back a handwritten note received from a young fan as young as 7 years old.

"[Bella] wrote her section number on the back, but I really never in a million years thought this would be returned to her," the girl's mother recalled on TikTok at the time." They wanted to return the letter to Taylor, so they filmed their daughter getting it back."

Also, during an "Eras Tour" performance in Arlington, Texas, Swift gave BFF Selena Gomez's little sister Gracie the iconic "Red" hat gifted it to her. As a sort of "thank you," Gracie presented Swift with a friendship bracelet.

In the same interview with Howard Stern, Blunt opened up about how her reputation as a successful Hollywood actress affects her two young children, Hazel and Violet.

"They become very protective," she said. 'People don't want to come up to me. People's energy is very intense.

The proud mom of two described what she called a "really sweet moment" when she and her oldest daughter were "walking home from school" "a few years ago."

"The girls came up to us and were kind of excited. I think they like 'The Devil Wears Prada. I think they like 'The Devil Wears Prada.

"We got on the elevator, and Hazel was watching that reaction of people, and then she started thinking about how people in our lives react to me, and she said, 'Do you think Tanique knows you're Emily Blunt? '

Blunt said her daughter then asked about "our dentist" and "who sets my hair."

"She thought they didn't know," she concluded.

"And it was so sweet, it killed me.
