Meghan Markle is celebrated as a mom as she visits Nigeria with her husband Prince Harry.

On Sunday, May 12, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Lagos, Nigeria, where they visited Il Peju Senior Grammar School to watch the Giants of Africa basketball exhibition as part of the Invictus Games' 10th anniversary celebrations.

During the visit, Masai Ujiri, vice president and chairman of the charity and former NBA player, wished Markle a happy Mother's Day and expressed his sincere gratitude to the Duchess for taking the time to visit Nigeria.

"Wishing you a happy, happy Mother's Day," Ujiri said, as reported by People. 'It is sometimes hard to be away from your children and family to make something like this happen. But doing so shows dedication. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have two children, Archie and Lilibet.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Nigeria to mark the 10th anniversary of Prince Harry's beloved Invictus Games, a Paralympic-style sporting event that honors and supports wounded soldiers and veterans.

Their three-day trip was the result of severe security concerns, intense scrutiny by the British media, and ongoing strife between the Duke and Duchess and other key members of the royal family, including Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Charles, and Queen Camilla, who have been in the royal role and This will be the first significant international tour since they stepped away from their duties.

"Our daughter Lili is much, much smaller than yours. She is almost three years old. A few weeks ago she looked at me and saw what she saw in my eyes. And she said (to me): 'Mommy, I see me in you.'"
