"Bridgerton" Season 4: Everything We Know

"Bridgerton" Season 4: Everything We Know

Dear readers, it's time to officially return to the world of romance and historical finery. Bridgerton Season 3 is finally back on Netflix, with the first 4 episodes of the split season premiering in 2024/5/13. (Unfortunately, Season 3 part 2 will have to wait until 6 May.In the third season of the Regency-era blockbuster series, longtime friends Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) step into the main romance story (Cantoni is not far away). The tension from friends to lovers, multiple subplots (maybe too many subplots) with the rest of the Bridgerton cast, the phat of Penelope's regent days, of course, just because Season 3 is not over doesn't mean fans aren't already screaming the news of Season 4. We're tracking down all the clues you can find in Season 4 of Bridgerton below.

Yes. The Romance series was updated with Seasons 2 and 4 in 2021, while Season 4 is still in production. As for the future of the series, Rhimes suggests that the series could last as long as 7 seasons (Julia Quinn's book series has 8 novels, so I want 8

"We have very specific plans for where we go each season. "You really have to start sowing seeds to other siblings, so what's going on with them, to push them into the next season. We really talked about it, I think, Season 6 or maybe 7."

Bridgerton's inter-season pause was unbearable for fans, as it took more than 2 years for each season to be released. (Season 1 debuted in 2020-12, Season 2 debuted in 2022-3, and Season 3 debuted in 2024-5 and 6.)If Season 4 follows the same schedule, the next love story will not appear until Fall 2026.

However, Rhimes has also revealed that she and the Bridgerton team are looking at ways to speed up the production of the show while working on how to shoot Netflix. She explained to Variety, "They want to write everything, and they want to shoot everything, that's— very much on the way I learned to make TV." It's not just about you, it's about you.She added. "And we're really thinking about things such as permanent sets and lots, and things like that really help us speed up the process.""

Since Netflix announced that Bridgerton season3 will break down the TV series with quinn's book, fans have been wondering if the show will return to its original order or continue to shake things up enough that now that Season 3 part 1 is out, it's clear which Bridgerton brothers can step into the spotlight. It's a great place to start.

This series was able to adapt a skipped book: The Story of Benedict with an offer from a gentleman. Benedict (Luke Thompson) is the free spirit of the Bridgerton family so far, and Season 3 sets him up with another new love interest, a sophisticated widower woman Tilly Arnold (Hannah New). We'll have to see how their flirtation plays out in part 2, but it's definitely the last of the Elder Bridgerton boys

or the show can jump with love into Eloise's book, Sir Philip. Avoiding spoilers for the book, neither the final love interest from Eloise (Claudia Jesse)'s novel nor her ex-lover, Theo Sharp (Salam Lynch), the printer's assistant, has been mentioned in Season 3 so far. Still, it's possible that the show will dramatically change Eloise's love story from the book.

There is also Francesca, who entered the Marriage Mart in Season 3 and found a sweet and quiet admiration for Sir John Sterling (Victor Ali), Earl of Kilmartin. Readers of the book know that Sterling is instrumental in Francesca's story when he was evil, and it's possible that Season 3 Part 2 could further set Francesca's final season. But the series may benefit from adapting Francesca's book at least until Season 5.

The plot is still tightly wrapped, but fans can at least rest assured to know that Season 4 is already underway. In fact, during the Season 3 premiere, Julia Quinn said that the team on the show already knew which Bridgerton would be the next star of the series.

"I can't say a word, I'm going to be in so much trouble," the author told people at the May premiere in New York City. "I know, but I can't say it yet.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Refinery29 on May 4, showrunner Jess Brownell teased that Season 4 has that star, revealing that the show's writers are working hard on the new episode.

"I can tell you that I know who it will be. We're in the middle of writing it right now," she said. "We're still making sure we create the best possible script before we start production. But we're really excited about what we've been working on so far. So hold on to hope."

It's still very early, but one of the things we know about Season 4 is that Polyn is coming back.1 Speaking to TheWrap on May 5, Nicola Coughlan confirmed that she and Luke Newton will be back next season, helping the previous couple of each season (at least 1 member) along the next season

Coughlan told the outlet, "They told us we were back in Season 4." And it's so nice...It will be exciting. [We] pop back and have some fun for sure."
