Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have brought a personal photographer to visit Nigeria over the weekend

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's visit to Nigeria was their first international trip for public consumption since returning as working members of the Royal Family in 2020. In what felt like a royal tour (and we're here for it!Harry and Meghan spent three days doing contracts related to mental health, women's empowerment and sport, and it was all documented by their personal photographer (and friend), Misan Harriman.

The Mirror reports that even though Meghan avoided hiring stylists and glam teams (according to make-up artist Daniel Martin, who did not accompany her on a trip to Nigeria), Harriman was there and documented the trip as the trip unfolded. "Their best friend and photographer Misan Harriman accompanied the visit and was seen taking pictures of the moment they arrived at the house of [Governor] Babaji de Sanwool," the publication reports. Misan also shares a lot of other photos from his trip to Nigeria on his Instagram."Outlet added" In one photo, Harry can be seen chatting with a Nigerian military veteran in a hospital. Misan also shared a black-and-white photo of Harry heading to Nigeria."

This is not the first time Harriman has collaborated with Sussex — he took a picture of Harry and Meghan announcing their pregnancy with Princess Lilibet and a portrait of Lili's first birthday in 2022 at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor on May 6. He also snapped a portrait of Meghan used to announce her new podcast with Lemonada Media earlier this year, and Meghan also joined him at last year's Netflix Q&A and supports her friends.

Just as Meghan learned through genealogy tests that she is 43 percent Nigerian, Harriman also has a deep relationship with the country — he was born there, so the visit was definitely special.

At the end of their whirlwind 3-day visit, Harry and Meghan call their time in Nigeria "unforgettable" and perhaps allude to a future royal tour, writing that this is "the first of many memorable trips."”
