Ryan Reynolds is not sure if he and Blake Lively's 4th child are named in friend Taylor Swift's "Tortured Poets Division."
Last year, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds welcomed their 4th child, but have not publicly shared either the name or gender of their brood's youngest child.
Last month, Lively's best friend Taylor Swift released her latest album, Torture Poets Division. Now Swift has a tradition, if you do, or a tendency to include the names of Reynolds' three older children Betty vividly in her songs, James, and Ines Swift's 2020 song "Betty" in her songs is fairly straightforward from her folklore records (only one of the girls' names is the song). James has been namechecked with Swift's song "Gorgeous", off of 2017's reputation. Swift is known for dropping an Easter egg on her lyrics — there was no so vibrant/Reynolds baby name. 4 Names: Instead of Nameless below
The Today show asked Reynolds if his new baby name made it to TTPD and this morning decided to go to one of the leading sources: "Just tell us this because Taylor Swift continues to drop it in the lyrics." — The name of the fourth child, the name of the baby is everywhere in the new record?Co-host Savannah Guthrie asked Reynolds, who was on the show promoting his new movie IF. "She was wondering if we had to wait for another song," said co-host Hoda Kotb.
Reynolds jokingly avoided the question, saying, "I'm always waiting for Taylor to tell me what the child's name is."He continued, "We will say this. We are still waiting — so, Taylor, let's start. You know, [she] is a prolific writer. What are we doing here" and laziness is not a word I attach to Taylor.
Lively and Reynolds kept the name of their 3-year-old daughter "Betty" to check secrets from them until the song was completed, Reynolds said in a 2021-8 SiriusXM Town Hall interview. "We surprised them with it," he said to each of the people. "They didn't know. They did not know."He kept joking," we say nothing to them. If you do not provide them with access to external information, we will find that they are the most compliant. In 2022, Swifties thought that Lively might have alluded to the name of the new baby in her song "You're on Your Own, Kid," which was released shortly after announcing her pregnancy — and features the name Daisy May (or May, we're not entirely sure). What we Know"That the baby was born in 2023-2, and that the lively Reynolds (and their circle of friends) really kept their lips tight.
Then, in his today interview, Reynolds revealed that he attended the Super Bowl with Swift in Las Vegas. "I took them all to the park and said my mom left when I was young," he joked, adding that they had a "good time" together. "No one died, it was good, and 4 kids, it's just a zoo," he said. "As you like, you just surrender, right?
Reynolds joked about the struggle of being a 4-person dad, telling Guthrie and Kotob, "When we had the 4th person, I was so happy because I always wanted to make sure someone would give me strep throat, and now we're covered." He said. "There is never a complete, blank slate of health.”
