Tina Knowles defended the tense exchange of bonus daughter Kelly Rowland on the Cannes Red Carpet earlier this week, praising Rowland's "beauty, class and grace."

Yesterday, Kelly Rowland broke her silence on what exactly happened during a seemingly heated exchange between Rowland and the guards on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival earlier this week: "Women know what has happened, I know what has happened." He spoke about the moment that happened on Tuesday while he was attending the premiere of the show. "I have boundaries, I stand on those boundaries, and that's it."

Roland also said, "The other women who attended that carpet didn't look like me and didn't get scolded, pushed away, or told to get off," she said, "I was standing on my ground and she felt like she had to stand on her.""

Roland is not Tina Knowles' biological child, but she has always treated her like her 3rd daughter. And now there's no difference — after Roland talked about the incident, Knowles took to Instagram, "And like that, she's @kellyrowland her amazing glory!"!!Knowles wrote. "Drink champagne and live her best life.(Roland appeared on the red carpet in Cannes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and the video that Knowles posted was from Thursday.Knowles, poignantly added, "Do not stop no show, this just goes to show that one stupid monkey!"!! To bigger and better things."

Per Page Six (and back to Tuesday's tense exchange),"The altercation in question occurred when Roland went up a set of stairs, with a female security guard raising his arm behind the star, seemingly guiding her to the venue from the crowd. The woman in the black pantsuit also seemed to be saying something. No matter what happened, I did not sit well with Roland, who immediately began to face the staff.

Sources told the Daily Mail that the guards "scolded Kelly and told her to move as [Roland] waved to the fans and was trying to help the paparazzi get shot." The source added that Roland "wanted to set a clear line" with the staff: "If she knew she was defending herself, she wouldn't care if she came across like a diva," they said. "She's not fake."

Roland and Knowles have long had a very close relationship — as evidenced when Roland and her fellow doomed children's bandmates pulled a reunion in the form of a private concert for Knowles' 70th birthday in May, Entertainment Tonight reports.

"I just died of being spoiled this weekend," Knowles said at the time on Instagram.instagram.At com, it states: "I was even serenaded by a doomed child. How wonderful it is'So I just want to thank everyone who sent me flowers, everyone who said happy birthday to me. I got so many well wishes. I have so many bonus kids — beautiful bonus kids - and I just feel so blessed. I love you guys. I love you so much.

The following month, Knowles returned Roland's support and joined daughter Beyonce and son・in-law Jay-Z at the premiere of Roland's film Mea Culpa in New York City.
