The reporter was apparently banned from asking Jennifer Lopez questions about her marriage to Ben Affleck while she promoted her movie "Atlas" this week.

While in Mexico City earlier this week at the premiere of her latest film, Atlas, Jennifer Lopez shut down a reporter who asked her about whether the speculation of divorce surrounding her and husband Ben Affleck was real. Leaning for the effect, she said to her microphone, "You know better than that."(Her Atlas co-star Simu Liu also came to her defense and told reporters, "Come on, don't come here with that energy.")

Well, obviously, when Lopez said, "You know better than that," that reporter— and all the reporters on Lopez's Atlas Press tour — actually knew better than that: Page Six reported that Lopez had been on her Atlas Press tour before scolding that particular reporter in Mexico City. The couple reportedly banned all questions about Affleck and their marriage at all of the star's premieres.

Atlas fell to Netflix today and "The streaming giant warned the media covering the Los Angeles and Mexico City premieres earlier this week that personal questions were completely off the table," Page Six reports. It is also worth noting that Lopez never appeared alone in the interview and was always backed up by co-stars Liu and Sterling K. Brown.

That was the same reason Affleck skipped the 5/6 Met Gala with Lopez, who was one of the 4 co-chairs of the night 1. Since then, rumors of marital strife have increased on the pitch of the heat, as it appears that there are obviously problems with the marriage, but both seem to expect to solve it.
