Prince William has a childhood connection with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny Lexham Football Club

Prince William, a well-known fĂștbol enthusiast, has a deep and childhood connection to the popular Wrexham football Club of actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

In the latest episode of the hit FX TV series Welcome to Wrexham, which aired on Thursday at 5.30 PM, the Prince of Wales appeared to support a successful football team and celebrate St David's Day, which will be observed on 3/1.

During the episode, the creators reveal a perhaps surprising boyhood connection between Prince William and the Club, and its executive director, Humphrey Carr.

"I went to school with Prince William. I've known him since I was 7 years old, or something like that," Kerr said in a scene like a confession. "We literally shared a bedroom from 7 to 10."

According to a report by Us Weekly, royal and Ker both attended ludgrove School and Eton College as boys. In the episode, Prince William says it's been "a while" since the pair looked at each other when 2 people shook hands.

"Prince William is in Wrexham today."It's a very important day, because it's St. David's Day and this is obviously a kind of national holiday in Wales," Kerr said during the episode. "Only we can not rest St. David's Day.

"As Prince of Wales, Prince William has to come and push the flesh, kiss the baby, and do all kinds of business that the Prince does," the executive director continued. "It's great for us that Wrexham Football Club and the whole of Wrexham have become the places the Royal put on the itinerary when visiting Wales

in the episode, the Princess of Wales also met with the team's co-chairman, McElhenney, to discuss the Philadelphia star's future.

"What you guys are doing is great, it really is," Prince William continued.

In response, McElhenney said the team was "beyond what we had imagined."

"You give so many football fans, that team maybe is not in the glory days used how they want to be, hope and optimism that someday you can come back," William said, adding that they have not played since Reynolds and his co-chairman bought the team in 2021. I admire McElhenney and the whole Wrexham team for everything they have achieved."
