Selena Gomez opens up about her potential future with boyfriend Benny Blanco and her previous plans to become a single mother at 35 if she is still single.

In a recent interview with TIME, Bill Starr's only murder admitted that her recent relationship with Blanco surprised her somewhat.

"It only happens when you don't expect it the most," Gomez told the publication, adding that at first she thought of Blanco as just a friend and even asked him to help her find her next romantic partner. "I cherish every moment with him. Recently, during a sit・in interview with the famous radio jockey Howard Stern, Blanco said he absolutely thought about getting married and starting a family with Gomez and that's my next goal," Blanco said on Sirius XM's Howard Stern show. "I have a lot of God's children (and) I got a lot of nephews. I love being around kids.

When Stern said he was looking at marriage in Blanco's future, the producer and songwriter responded, "Both you and me," and then first he said, "My act together

A source close to the couple recently told the weekly magazine that Gomez is "definitely looking" at his relationship with Blanco "going the distance."

"They talk about marriage and having children and are on the very same page," an insider told the publication at the time.

In speaking with time, Gomez revealed that normally she would be more cautious about sharing details about her romantic relationship or even her feelings, but does not feel the need to be so protective when it comes to swings.

"I know what people can do to the people I love," Gomez explained. "My own fans who feel like I adore and shape who I am say the most harmful things to me about how I live my life, but (Benny) has the strength in him that none of that noise fazes him. It's really impressive.”
