John Bon Jovi shares adorable details about his wedding with Milly Bobby Brown's son Jake Bon Jovi
Jon Bon Jovi is there when his son Jake Bongiovi and his new wife Millie Bobby Brown need him, that's for sure.
The proud dad opened up about the lovers' recent wedding in a new interview, and he revealed again that he fully supported their relationship
on BBC's The One Show, where he asked if he could confirm reports that Jake and Brown tied the knot and how they were doing "They're amazing," the rock star said. They are absolutely amazing. It was a very small family wedding. The bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is as happy as possible, and yeah, it's true!"
While another insider told the Sun, they confirmed to people on Friday that the Stranger Things actress was secretly married to her mistress," Millie and Jake quietly said their vows in America last weekend.
"They are planning a bigger ceremony in the US later this year, but now they are legally married and doing all the paperwork.
"It was a very modest and romantic relationship with them and their closest family, as they said their vows."
Meanwhile, Page Six has published a photo of a happy couple paparazzi enjoying a post-wedding trip to the Hamptons where the two are apparently wearing wedding rings.
John previously talked about how happy he was for his son and his famous partner, who was criticized for being so young and engaged. (Brown is now 20 and was 19 when he got engaged. Jake is 22 years old.
"I don't know if age matters," the musician previously told Andy Cohen. "If you find the right partner and you grow together, you know. I think that will be my advice, really, it is wise to grow together. Grow together. I think all my kids have found people that they can grow together and think we like 'em all!
John also compared his relationship to his 27・year-old wife, Dorothea Hurley (but first met in high school), whom he married at the age of 35.
The Enola Holmes star has also defended her choice to be engaged (and subsequently married) at a young age.
"It's like — I know I need to make this movie now. I know I should write this book now. I know I should do this now," Brown told Glamour last year.
"It's not because I can't do it in 10 years, of course I can do it in 10 years." But why, when I know that it will work now "Just like Florence [by Mills, her beauty line] there in 10 years you will be able to see my movie in 10 years on TV." And I know Jake and I are all right.
