Jason Kelse says he and his wife Kylie are "equal" after she is called a "housewife

Jason Kelce does not support the reductive explanation of his wife, kylie Kelce.

The former Philadelphia Eagles player took to social media to defend Kylie, an anonymous user described her as "a housewife whose house is a mess" and "

" "I don't think of Kylie as a housewife, I think of her as my wife,"" he wrote. "I think of her as a mother. She has a profession just like me, and we are doing our house the best we can.

He continued, "Our marriage is a partnership, and we understand that every day is equality." The only expectation is that we love each other, support each other and are committed to our family coming first.

Jason addressed who's responsible for maintaining their home: "We both raise children, we both work, we both" It's also our downsides, but living with 3 young children, busy schedules, and both of us are neat freaks. It is not. She also makes average sand which[sic].

He also added that he fully supports someone's decision to become a housewife, but "That's not the dynamic of our family.

Jason and Kylie share children Wyatt, 4, Elliott, 3, and Bennett, 1.

These comments from Jason come after he responded to Kansas City Chiefs player Harrison Butker's controversial opening speech from a few weeks ago.

In a speech at Benedict University, Booker addressed female graduates by risking speculation that they are "most excited about your marriage, and the children you bring into this world," not the career they were about to start.

He added, "My beautiful wife Isabel said that her life really started when she started living her profession as a wife and as a mother

As expected, the Internet wasn't as impressed with all this. After the speech went viral, the NFL moved away from Butker's opinion in a statement, with celebrities such as Maren Morris, Flavor Flav, Hoda Kotb and Maria Shriver condemning his words.

Kelce brothers Jason and Travis responded to the controversy in the 5/24 episode of the podcast New Heights.

"I value him as a teammate," said Travis, a fellow player with the Chiefs. "He treats the friends and family I introduced him to with only respect and kindness, and that's how he treats everyone."

Taylor's boyfriend continued," When it comes to his views and what he said in the opening speech of the [Benedictine], you know, those are his. I can't say that I agree with most of it or that he not only loves his family and his children, but also agrees with any of it, and I don't think I should judge him by his views, especially his religious views - how to go about life. It's not just who I am.

Meanwhile, Jason said, "I've been asked by so many people," your daughters were sitting there and they just aligned to be housewives.

Then the 3 dads explained why they think that question is ridiculous.

"I say, 'If I hear my daughter say to someone what to do or they should be housewives, I have failed as a dad,'" he said.

"As you like, f*** you're talking about 'I don't care who I'm talking to'. If you let someone on stage and tell you that you can't do it, then you're like, "Aw f***, I'm a Fortune 500 What are we talking about?"

"All you have to do is say, 'That man is an idiot.'"And then you move on. So I don't get what the whole fuss is about."
