X-Files star David Duchovny wishes his short stint on the HBO show that hit Sex and the City has never been so easy.

In a recent exclusive interview with People, Duchovny waxed nostalgic about his cameo appearance in the iconic series during Season 6, Episode 10, aptly titled "Boy Interrupted."

"We were talking about doing more, but we didn't end up doing it," Duchovny told the publication when discussing the possibility of extending the story line of his character so that he could play a more regular role in the series.

"I would have wanted to do that show more," he added.

Duchovny praised the city girlfriend with his simple, on-screen sex and told the publication that the pair had an "immediate, easy working rhythm."

"I loved working with Sarah," he explained.

Sarah Jessica Parker's character, Carrie, certainly had her fair share of unwanted dating prospects throughout the show's history-making 6 while fans have ranked the gentlemen of Carrie's life from best to worst over the years, Parker himself has been one of Carrie's best friends.
