Kate Middleton has publicly apologised for not participating in the upcoming (and rather major) trooping the Colour event.

On Saturday, 6/8, an Irish guard shared a series of photos with X.Formerly known as Twitter, it highlights a letter received from the Princess of Wales apologising for her future absence in a review of the Ceremony Colonel.

"I thank everyone trooping this year has been practicing for months and dedicated a lot of time to make sure their uniforms and drills are immaculate," the Royal wrote, "Being your colonel remains a great honor and I am very sorry that I can not take a salute in this year's colonel review." Please pass my apology to the whole regiment, but I hope that I will soon be able to represent all of you again. Send my very best wishes and good luck to all concerned.

In response, the Irish guard said Saturday morning that he was "deeply moved to receive a letter from the colonel."

"We wish her Highness well in her recovery and continue to send her our very best wishes," an Irish guard posted on X.

Recently, Buckingham Palace confirmed that the Princess of Wales will skip the iconic Trooping of Colour and that she will not serve as an inspector in the traditional Colonel's review as she continues her preventive preventive cancer treatment.

"We wish the Colonel of the Irish Guards the best wishes for her recovery," said Lieutenant Colonel James Shaw—Brigade Major of the Home Department, organizing and performing the celebration of colors

While Middleton is not expected to attend any of the pre-event of color or Trooping of the celebration itself, the report suggests that the Princess of Wales considers the Buckingham Palace balcony appearance of surprise along with the rest of the royal family "if she feels enough."

Such cameos are certainly shocking, especially after it was reported that Middleton would not return to the royal duties she faces in public.fall...at The earliest.

While other reports indicate that the Princess of Wales is likely not to return to the public eye until 2025, other reports suggest that the Royal's return will not be exactly the same as before she was diagnosed with cancer.
