Prince William Reveals why Princess Charlotte wasn't excited about going to school this week
As if she still didn't love Princess Charlotte enough, her dad, Prince William, gave a relevant reason to like her even more — she wasn't looking forward to school this week because she had exams, he revealed during Wednesday's engagement.
"Charlotte is at school," he said yesterday, chatting with a young STO, as he was celebrating the 80th anniversary of d-Day (actually 6/6). "Charlotte is taking the exam.
William further added that the 9-year-old Charlotte "wasn't looking forward to it this morning" and headed to school in Lambrook, where she attended with the brothers of Prince George and Prince Louis. "Hopefully, it all went well," he said, crossing his fingers.
On Wednesday, William traveled to Portsmouth, England, to speak at the event with King Charles and Queen Camilla, and said he was "deeply honored" to attend, according to Us Weekly. He also poignantly gave updates about another member of his family: Of his wife, Kate, who continues to stay out of the public eye while she is being treated for cancer, William told one veteran that "she would have liked to be here" and that Kate "got better
as she underwent prophylactic chemotherapy."As for Charlotte, she and her brother started school in Lambrook in 2022-9-8, and on the same day her late Majesty died at her beloved Balmoral at the age of 96. Due to the circumstances of the royal family's interesting surnames, William and Kate's 3 children started school in Lambrook that Thursday as George Cambridge, Charlotte Cambridge and Louis Cambridge (nodding to their parents' previous titles as Duke and Duchess of Cambridge), but the next day William and Kate joined William and Kate in London. Having become the Prince and Princess of Wales, he returned to Lambrook as George Wales, Charlotte Wales and Louis Wales. Flash forward to the current day, and Charlotte has finished four years - and we hope that her exams went well as a school break is on the horizon, too.
Last month, I saw a new photo celebrating my 9th birthday, but I haven't seen Charlotte publicly engaged since Christmas Day 2023, when she and other royal family members went to the annual church service at St Mary Magdalene's at Sandringham House. The day was also the last day to see her mother, Kate, take on public duty, as she has been through a tumultuous health battle since the beginning of 2024.
