A simple summer outfit of Kaia Gerber can somehow be minimalist and boho
Another day, another simple killing from Kaia Gerber. The minimalist style of the model was on full display on 6/5 yesterday, running errands about the town following her "friend's honeymoon."Then Gerber posed for a photo of the beach and wore a sultry, sand-skimming black maxi dress. Now she's back to hitting the concrete with a casual look.
Gerber was photographed walking the streets of Los Angeles wearing a white sleeveless cropped peasant top. The romantic, almost see-through button-up features lace and sheer panels, plus floral detailing. She paired the blouse with low-rise navy blue slacks and a black ballerina flat. As for accessories, the model threw a large white tote over her shoulders and hid from the sun in an oversized black oval shade.
The look has all the traps of classic Kaia outfits — low-rise bottoms, face-shielded sunglasses, slight 90s or Y2K influences (see: The return of boho chic on runways like chloé), her flat. The only thing missing is her tried and true giant silver AirPod Maxes.
Whether Gerber is at the airport wearing a large black trench coat and 2024 Rising It sneakers (Onitsuka Tiger Mexico66s), paired with cardboard eclipse glasses and a midi skirt and sweater, or proving that soccer cleats can be worn from the field, it's not surprising. It is known for its sleek, relaxed off-duty style, such as the black-and-white T-shirt, the black-and-white shirt, the black-and-white shirt, the black-and-white shirt, and the black-and-white shirt. Today's clothes fit neatly into the Kaia Canon she established with her stylist, Daniel Goldberg.
Last week, before a friend's honeymoon, Gerber tried a polarized trend called back to the 2000s - a layered miniskirt over a pair of flared pants. Of course, she pulled it and paired it with her trusty ballet flat and small tee. Before that, Gerber was photographed skipping the town on one of her signature travel get-ups— a blueberry short-sleeved button-down cardigan, black wide-leg trousers, a black flushed suitcase instead, she packed her belongings in a Paloma wool navy blue tote and a monogram Celine duffel bag. It was a great experience.
Now Kaia has spoken through her outfits: Boho is back very much, and it can also be minimized. Look under her and shop.
