Lisa Ann Walter calls Jason Kelse "a handsome hunk of man" following his "Abbott Elementary School" cameo
Lisa Ann Walter may have a slight celebrity crush on Jason Kelce, which, understandable.
Walter, who plays Melissa in the sitcom Abbott Elementary School, has just opened up about Kelce's cameo on the show at the beginning of the season. The Philadelphia Eagles appeared as a Season 3 pilot along with former teammates Jaylen Hertz and Brandon Graham via a classroom zoom call broadcast of the show.
"Jason wanted to be part of something that would help shed light on what the Philadelphia public school system was like, so I would say, because he was honored to be on our show," Walter explained to Us Weekly.
"It meant so much to him and he was excited to be there. And because it's for kids, of course [he] was going to be there. He was lovely.
Commenting further on Kelce, Walter added, "He's also a handsome hunk of man, I can say.
Since Abbott Elementary School is set in Philadelphia, it was a real school, there will probably be kids—and teachers—Eagles fans. Walter also said every week
Abbott Elementary's Season 3 finale aired on 5/22, but with Season 4 officially confirmed on 2 May, fans don't have to worry.
The sitcom has had incredible success so far and won Emmy Awards in 2022 and 2023, including both Lead Actress and screenwriter Quinta Branson (Janine) and Cheryl Lee Ralph (Barbara) for Supporting Actress. He has also received awards including the Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Translation: It's hardly surprising that it's been updated for the fourth season and I can't wait, for one.
