Jennifer Aniston pays touching tribute to best friend Courteney Cox on her 60th birthday
Jennifer Aniston shared a touching tribute to her "Friends" co-star and forever person Courteney Cox in honor of her 60th birthday, proving she is a BFF goal.
On Saturday, June 15, Aniston took to Instagram to share a series of photos highlighting her decades-long friendship with Cox, along with a touching caption detailing how much their relationship means to the actress.
"Today we celebrate this powerful, magical, mysterious, funny, interesting, ferociously talented girl! My sweet CC @courteneycoxofficial... She is uniquely funny and amazing inside and out," wrote Aniston. 'Independent in the most gorgeous way, she looks out for everyone, even if she doesn't know you. Dogs are scary βΊοΈ and fiercely loyal to the end, even though I don't know her without at least two dogs."
Aniston went on to write that Cox "redecorates rooms like nobody's business" and "finds dirt on windows from a mile (literally) away."
"She doesn't care what other people think!" ! ππΌππΌ I can't imagine the world without her," she continued." It is one of my greatest honors to be able to call her one of my best friends for life. ..... .cc, happy birthday. I love you!"
In 2023, Aniston said she and Cox "have been through a lot together" after meeting in the 90s and forming an instant friendship on the set of the beloved and iconic TV show Friends.
"The show taught us the importance of camaraderie and really sticking together," she explained at the time.
"And it taught us the importance of being there for each other. But it's true."In a moving speech after Cox received her coveted Hollywood Walk of Fame star, a teary-eyed Aniston said, "To be friends with Courtney is to be family with Courtney."
"She is responsible for all of it. From the beginning of Friends, she was immediately receptive, warm, loving, and interested in all of you," she added.
In a previous interview with More, Aniston said that when it comes to her best friend, "there is absolutely no judgment on the court."
"You never feel scolded," she said at the time."
"She is very fair, ridiculously loyal, and intensely loving.
Not to be outdone, Cox told TV Week in another earlier interview that when the two friends are together, "We just have fun, we laugh, we are inseparable, it's great."
