Taylor Swift to Give Big Donation to Edinburgh Food Bank After Tour in Scotland

Taylor Swift's well-known generosity struck again.

Taylor performed in Edinburgh on June 7, 8, and 9, but did not want to leave without making a tangible impact on Scotland's capital (aside from making memories and stimulating the economy, of course).

The Tortured Poets Department singer therefore decided to make a large donation to the Edinburgh Food Project, a local food bank organization.

"When fans gathered at Murrayfield on Friday for the first of three record-breaking gigs, the Edinburgh Food Project learned that Taylor Swift would be donating to support food banks across the city. [Taylor's visit will be remembered in Edinburgh for years to come, and this gift means that those in crisis will also feel the long-term impact. [Taylor has changed Edinburgh for the better.

They also asked for a donation of £13 from the public, named after Swift's lucky number. Those wishing to donate can do so through the Edinburgh Food Project's JustGiving page.

Bethany Biggar, the organization's director, said in a statement to People, "We are thrilled that Taylor has decided to support the food bank and leave a lasting impact on Edinburgh. It is lovely to see someone like Taylor spreading such positivity."

The Swifties apparently followed their fave's lead and sent donations to the charity.

Swift has often been praised for using her money for good over the years. A beautiful example of this was last year when she finished the first leg of her "Eras" tour in the US and handed out bonuses totaling a whopping $55 million to the crew that helped put on the show.

These bonuses included $100,000 for each truck driver involved, and the boss of the trucking company she used said at the time, "She is giving these people life-changing sums of money."

Well done, Tay.
