Jennifer Lopez, who attended her son Sam's high school graduation with Ben Affleck, may have wanted to fly under the style radar. But when J.Lo is J.Lo, it's hard not to stand out, especially in a white dress and a rare Hermes Birkin bag.

Lopez attended the graduation ceremony on Wednesday, June 12, in a white Valentino shift dress with long sleeves and a scalloped hem. It was the kind of dress one might see on a private deck overlooking an upscale golf course. Her exact dress is sold out, but the navy version is still available.

Lopez amplified the rich mama energy of the dress by turning to her signature accessories: oversized sunglasses, sky-high heels with clear PVC detailing by Gianvito Rossi, and a Himalayan Birkin bag by Hermes (Lopez is a member of the Lopez family. (Lopez did not spend much time with her large family at the event, amid reports that she has sold her Los Angeles home and is living separately from her husband, Ben Affleck.

A high school graduation ceremony, of course, calls for a sophisticated and perhaps modest dress. But the hemlines at the country club were relatively modest compared to J.Lo's recent attire. Last weekend, shopping with the kids, she tried on the minimalist girl's summer uniform of a small cropped tank top, wide-leg khakis, and platform sneakers.
