Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, one month shy of their second wedding anniversary, are living "separately."
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have decided to sell their $60 million home in Beverly Hills, which they just purchased last year; the two will celebrate their second wedding anniversary next month.
After rekindling their romance in 2021, the couple became engaged in April 2022, got married in Las Vegas in July of that year, and the following month were married in front of family and friends at Affleck's property in Georgia. The couple put their house on the market about two weeks ago, and Lopez is currently trying to purchase another home. [Entertainment Tonight] reports that Lopez and Affleck are "trying to put some distance between them and work things out," and although the marriage is not over yet, "Jen and Ben are living separate lives, but they are not officially separated yet," a source told the magazine. 'At this point they are just doing their own thing. They went into the relationship very optimistic things could change, but they haven't."
[3This past Sunday, Affleck visited Lopez and spent four hours at the house they are reportedly putting up for sale, Us Weekly reported. The magazine reported in May that Affleck had been told that the house sits on 5 acres, has 12 bedrooms, 24(!) bathrooms, a 12-car garage, a swimming pool, a sports facility with basketball and pickleball, a gym, and a boxing ring, and reported that he moved out of the 38,000-square-foot house "a few weeks ago."
"Jen has been touring the house and shopping for her own home," Entertainment Tonight's source continued. 'During this transitional time, she is relying on her mother, sisters, and children.' (Lopez has two sisters, Linda and Leslie Ann.)
The media outlet reported that Affleck relies not only on his family, but also on his close friends, including Matt Damon: "Ben is grieving everything but work, being a great father, and (his ex-wife) He is focused on co-parenting with Jennifer Garner. He's learning from Matt Damon and his close circle of male friends. Matt is always on Ben's side and supports him."
Affleck is reportedly still in L.A. filming "The Accountant 2," while Lopez's summer has been more open: the album "This Is Me. Now", a musical film of the same name, the documentary "The Greatest Love Story Never Told" in February, the release of the Netflix hit "Atlas" last month, co-hosting the Met Gala in May, and filming the movie "Kiss of the Spider Woman" this spring. The start of 2024 has been insanely busy, with the filming of "This Is Me..." and Lopez's planned summer tour, "This Is Me... Live" was canceled. The "This Is Me... Live" was canceled.
