Sam Heughan Joins Eras Tour in Edinburgh After Joking About Stealing Travis Kells' Taylor Swift
Sam Heughan, of "Outlander" fame, joined the Eras tour in Edinburgh on June 8, just days after joking that he was going to steal Taylor Swift from Travis Kells.
Heughan attended the concert with his co-stars from the show, including John Hunter Bell, Sophie Skelton, Caitriona Balfe, and Lauren Lyle, and posted photos on Instagram of everyone having fun. He and Bell also wore friendship bracelets for the concert, but it is unclear if they made them or were given them. (Swiffey always tries to give friendship bracelets to celebrities when he finds them.)
Hughan captioned his post, "Great night back at @murrayfield_stadium with the @outlander_starz family!" he captioned it!
"Thanks to @louisamcculloch3 @nightmaril for organizing and @taylorswift for a great night of entertainment!" he captioned it.
A few days earlier, Heughan posted a video on Instagram, revealing his evil plan to take Travis Kells' girl.
"Going to see Taylor Swift live in Scotland, I think most of the cast is going," he explained.
"She obviously doesn't know this, but when she comes to Scotland and sees me in the audience, she'll forget all about him and go crazy for the guy in the ginger wig. She'll swat him away and ask me out instead. I'm really excited."
He then did Swift's signature heart gesture with both hands, showing that he really knows his stuff.
A fan told Heughan in the comments, " Make her a friendship bracelet, Sam." Apparently it works.
This was in reference to how Kels first tried to pull off a coup with Swift, making a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it and handing it to her after a Kansas City show he attended last summer.
It didn't work out at first, but after the football player started talking about the occasion in public, the singer eventually heard about it, and a relationship began soon after. Sorry to this man (Heughan), but they are now happily in love and it may be too late to declare a friendship bracelet at this stage. Next time
