Ashanti is sweetly open about her proposal from Nelly, and you have to get ready to stun.

"It was just such a beautiful, intimate moment," "Rock Wit U" singer said in a new interview with Entertainment tonight. "We were not Dressy. I was definitely wearing his T-shirt and 1 of his boxers. It was very, like — I had absolutely no idea.

Asked if the proposal was a complete surprise, Ashanti continued, "I felt like it was coming soon." I didn't know when it was, and the way it happened was so interesting. I'm sitting in bed watching TV and wearing a boxer..."

Then she said, "I cried. I gave him the biggest hug and kiss ever. I went face to face with everyone I know."I was overjoyed, shocked, surprised and happy."

Ashanti and Nelly are currently expecting their first child together, so the priority is not to wedding planning right now. Still, John Tucker had to die, and the actress said they were "ready" and would "probably" tie the knot, not later. She even knows the month she wants the wedding to happen, that it should preferably be on the Caribbean beach, and that she does not want to get pregnant for it — meaning they will welcome their children before replacing the ring.
