Prince Harry will likely be "right next door" to Travis Kells at next month's ESPY Awards.
On July 11, Prince Harry will receive the Pat Tillman Distinguished Service Award at the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles, where he will join Harry's brother, Prince William, and his two oldest sons, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who just a week earlier were with (and highly) likely to interact with Travis Kelsey.
Described by The Sun as "the Oscars of American sports," ESPY is "likely to set up some interesting moments with Kels and Harry," the media outlet reported.
Kelce plays tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, the defending Super Bowl champions and was nominated for team of the year at the awards ceremony. Kelce's quarterback and friend Patrick Mahomes is also nominated for Best Male Athlete at this year's ESPYs.
In addition to her husband receiving the highly prestigious award, Megan's good friend Serena Williams will also host the event.
Harry is likely to be "very close" to Kels at the event, a source told The Sun.
After their meeting, Kelsey described the Prince of Wales as "the coolest motherfucker" and praised how genuine he is and, perhaps most importantly, his parenting skills. If anyone is doing it right, Prince William is doing it right," Kells said on his podcast New Heights, along with his brother Jason Kells, who praised William, George, and Charlotte.
But for Kelsey, he is friendly with both brothers, and next month on ESPY, "Travis is the most social, happy-go-lucky, kind person in any room, and I bet he would love to greet the prince [Harry] and interact with the Sussexes. That's his style, and to be honest, he's one of the biggest names in U.S. sports." For Harry, it could be an awkward encounter, given Travis' warmth and admiration for William. For Harry, it could be an awkward encounter, given Travis' warmth and admiration for William. If Harry ducks Travis, it would seem odd, and if the two chatted, the question would be whether they discussed William."
Harry's award will no doubt be for his work over the past decade with the Invictus Games, which just celebrated its 10th anniversary last month, but according to "ESPN," he is "following in the footsteps of former NFL player and U.S. Army Ranger Pat Tillman, who has made others The award is given to "a person with a strong connection to the sport who has made a contribution to others in a way that continues the legacy of former NFL player and U.S. Army Ranger Pat Tillman. Tillman died on April 22, 2004, at the age of only 27, after being hit by friendly fire while serving in Afghanistan.
According to ESPN, Harry received the award named in Tillman's honor "for his tireless efforts to positively impact the veteran community through the power of sports."
