Travis Kells called "Alice in Wonderland" "Alison Wonderland.
Travis Kelce has lived most of his life with a rather surreal misconception about certain children's books.
Travis and his brother Jason Kelsey recorded the latest episode of their podcast, "New Heights," at a classic English pub in London, sampling local eats throughout the recording. At one point, they were served afternoon tea, and the Eagles alum said, "This is truly an Alice in Wonderland tea set," before adding, "Oh, this is an official Mad Hatter's tea service."
For that matter, Travis added, "I also just found out over the summer that it's 'Alice in Wonderland,' not 'Alison Wonderland. I thought 'Alison Wonderland' sounded like the name."
Unbelieving, Jason said, "You thought it was? I saw the movie. You know her name wasn't Allison."
Travis replied, "I didn't hear it. I didn't hear it once, dude."
Obviously, Jason was absolutely cracking up about this. In the podcast episode, he also talks about meeting Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte at a concert at Wembley Stadium.
The footballers were thoroughly impressed with the royal family, with Travis calling William "the coolest motherfucker" and Jason, the girls' father, saying Charlotte "has fire in her."
Jason also opened up about how moved he was by Swift's performance and the moment she handed a red fedora to a young girl in the audience. 'I've never cried at a concert before,' He said. It was so special. It was great."
As for the Alison Wonderland thing, it feels very brand new for a guy whose slightly nonsensical old tweets a few months ago were so wholesome. One particular hit was, "I gave a squirrel a loaf of bread and he just smashed it all up!!!! ! I didn't know squirrels ate bread like that!
It never changes, Trav.
