Jennifer Lopez is enjoying her vacation in Europe without Ben Affleck.

"Jen loves to vacation in Europe in the summer," a source told Entertainment Tonight about the superstar's well-deserved break.

"It's good for her to have a change of scenery and a break from it all. She enjoys spending time with her friends. She loves going to fun dinners, staying up late, lying in the sun, getting dressed up, dancing, and shopping."

The source also explained that these things are probably easier to do when Affleck is not there.

"Even when he and Jen didn't have problems, Ben's scenes never were," the source continued.

"Jen doesn't let the fact that Ben isn't there get her down."

Lopez was spotted on a boat and at a hotel in Positano, Italy last week, then flew to Paris, France to attend the Dior Couture Week show.

Affleck's absence is not a factor at all (after all, spouses are allowed to vacation without each other), as the two have sadly been hit with divorce rumors in recent weeks.

Since mid-May, anonymous sources have swarmed the press, claiming that Lopez and Affleck are living separately, or at least considering separation.

Since then, the "Gone Girl" actor and the mulatto hyphenate have put the couple's house on the market and have only rarely been seen together. Still, Lopez made a loving post to her husband on Father's Day, June 16.

In early June, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the famous couple "don't want to divorce and say they won't, but their relationship is simply not working at this point. They are not over yet and want to fix things because they love each other, but they are also both unhappy."

Whatever happens, I wish them both the best.
