Ben Affleck photographed without his wedding ring for the first time since his divorce from Jennifer Lopez
Ben Affleck is right to hide his ring finger from the paparazzi. That's because, amidst the ongoing rumors of his divorce from Jennifer Lopez, photographers can't stop looking for that famous silver band.
In the latest news on that front, Affleck was photographed without his wedding ring for the first time since divorce speculation began while having dinner with his daughter Violet, 18, on Saturday, as seen in a photo released by Entertainment Tonight She was photographed without her wedding ring.
However, she was wearing the ring the following Sunday, which says absolutely nothing about the state of her marriage to Lopez. Incidentally, there are any number of reasons to temporarily remove a wedding ring: it's too hot, she's playing sports, she's washing dishes, etc.
Besides, in most of the other photos taken of the "Gone Girl" actor since the rumors began in mid-May, he has proudly worn the jewelry.
But when Affleck was photographed without the ring, his wife was continuing her solo vacation in Italy, where she was spotted in Positano last week. And according to comments from anonymous sources on the Internet, the Bennifer marriage is sadly not all sunshine and rainbows right now.
The two have reportedly been living separately for several weeks and even put the couple's house on the market exactly one year after they bought it (though this may not mean imminent doom at all, according to some sources).
Earlier this month, a source told "Entertainment Tonight," "Jen and Ben are living separately, but not officially separated yet. At this point, they are just doing their own thing; they went into the relationship very optimistic and thought things might change, but they haven't."
The source added, "They have been very optimistic about their relationship.
Still, amid all the drama, Lopez wished Affleck a Happy Father's Day on June 16, calling him "our hero." Clearly, whatever their relationship, there is still much love and respect there.
