Travis Kelsey wipes away tears as Taylor Swift sings in Amsterdam.
NFL star Travis Kelce was apparently moved to tears as his girlfriend Taylor Swift sang three songs supposedly dedicated to her new boyfriend.
During her final performance in Amsterdam on Saturday, July 6, Swift performed a mashup of three songs, "Mary's Song," "Everything Has Changed," and "So High School."
Her consistently supportive boyfriend, Kelce, was again in attendance and appeared to be quite emotional as Swift sang a number of romantic lyrics that fans believe were performed specifically for and by Kelce.
In a video shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, Kels can be seen rocking to his girlfriend's performance in the crowd, recording her last Amsterdam "Eras Tour" show on his phone before wiping an apparent tear from his eye Also available. [Brittany Mahomes, who is married to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, appeared in the frame, seemingly wiping away tears to make sure Kelce was okay.
There was certainly a good reason that Kelce was really wiping away tears while listening to his girlfriend serenade him in front of thousands of enthusiastic fans.
In what may have been one of his most emotionally charged songs, Swift sang lyrics that could easily be interpreted as an anthem to his relationship with the three-time Super Bowl champ.
The lyrics are "Cause all I know is what we said, 'Hello'/ And your eyes look like comin' home/ All I know is a simple name/And everything has changed."
If you're not crying, check your pulse.
The avid Swift fan even went into the meaning behind the superstar's decision to incorporate three specific songs into such a romantic mashup.
"Mary's songs are from her debut era. She sings about two people who meet, fall in love, and are together forever," one fan posted on X with a screenshot of the Travis-inspired mashup theory." In it, she sings the line." I'm 87, you're 89; 87 is Travis' jersey number. Taylor was born in 1989. The Invisible String Theory."
The theory explained that "Everything Has Changed" was a Red Era song and that Travis' jersey colors were red and gold.
"The theory is that the song was an instant love connection between Taylor and Travis." And of course, it is well known at this point that "So High School" is dedicated to Kelsey, and that their relationship makes Swift feel as if she were back in high school.
"Together," the theory concluded, "the three songs make up a mash-up love song dedicated to Travis that captures how she felt when they met, how they felt when they were together, and her wish to be with him forever.
